Now You're Cooking! The classes below are happening at A Cook's Table in Baltimore, Maryland. http://www.acookstable.com Friday, March 21st, 7pm, $50. COUNTRY FRENCH Join Chef and cookbook author Linda Eckhardt to learn some classic country French dishes. We’ll be making a pate with apples and truffle oil, braised lettuce and radishes, and a daube of lamb. We’ll also have a special dessert and a selection of French cheeses and wine. Saturday March 22 6:30 pm $50 LINDA ECKHARDT' HALF SCRATCH MAGIC Linda starts the national book tour at A Cook’s Table for her new book.. Half Scratch Magic, 200 ways to pull dinner out of a hat using a can of soup or other tasty shortcuts. Linda will show you how to fix least 8 recipes from this book. (Class Type T) Sunday, March 23rd at 5:30pm. $50 KITCHEN COSMETICS- HOME MADE BEAUTY & BATH PRODUCTS Linda’s recent article in COUNTRY LIVING, March ’03 on homemade beauty products is the result of a Spring ’02 class she did at ACT. This will get your skin and mind ready for the warm weather and help you recover from our brutal winter. Sign up early for this popular class. (Class Type T) Friday, April 18th at 7pm. $50 DATENIGHT #1 UMBRIAN HILL TOWN FEAST You and Linda Eckhardt will be making three bruschettas, Umbrian soup, a salad with truffle oil dressing with a topping of shaved Italian cheeses, Italian cheese sampler, and homemade raviolis with a ricotta cheese stuffing. Dessert will be homemade biscotti and gelato. (Class Type T) Saturday, April 19th at 10:30am. $70 GRILLING FOR THE MASTER COOK In this total participation class Linda will teach you to smoke, grill, and barbecue. (Class Type T) Sat., April 19th at 6:30pm. $50 DATE NIGHT #2 SEAFOOD NEAR & FAR Linda will have you making seafood dishes from the East Coast to Europe. How does Mediterranean Fish Soup, Sautéed Scallops in a Citrus Curry Sauce, Asiago Risotto, Spinach Salad with Pear Champagne Vinaigrette, and Chocolate Soufflé Cakes with raspberry & vanilla sauces sound to you and your datefor a night out on the town. (Class Type T) Sunday, April 20th at 12:30pm. $50 adults/$25 kids under 12. EASTER BRUNCH W/ LINDA ECKHARDT After the Easter egg hunt is over come visit us for a 12:30 brunch. Bring the whole family and you’ll be making fresh fruit compote, Golden Rod eggs with fresh biscuits, smoked fish salad, fruit scones, cinnamon rolls. Chocolate eggs for the kids to take home.
